Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is any company’s initiative to extend its responsibility toward other people and the environment they live in. There are a number of ways to give back to society through the people in your company. Here are some of them:

Donate to Charity. If your company has heart for a specific cause like education and children, you can add this to the list of things you can do for CSR. Charities are always in need of donations to fund their operations year in and year out. Without donors, charities would not live long because they are non-profit organizations. If you are a C Corporation, you can actually use the cash charitable donation as a way to deduct taxes.

Volunteer. Your company can give the employees a choice too if they want to volunteer for a specific cause that your company embodies. Volunteering may be a good choice for you to give your employees a chance to see the community and get immersed in charitable activities. This can even benefit the employees, as it gives them a sense of pride when helping those in need.

School Construction. A lot of children all over the world are in need of quality and accessible education. Some children who live in areas without schools do not have the chance to know more about the world. Helping children have a better future and giving them a chance to give back to the society too!

Hospital Construction. There are people who lack access to affordable universal health care, so helping construct charitable hospitals will give the community the chance to get treated at lower rates.
